About Us
Who We Are
Macon RBI is a youth baseball and softball organization in Macon focused on developing young athletes through sports, mentorship, and community support.
The RBI program has created life-changing opportunities for young athletes, helping many advance to college and professional baseball and softball. Since 1989, more than 200 participants have been drafted by MLB teams, with dozens more earning scholarships to continue their education.
RBI alumni have reached the highest levels of the game, with several playing on Major League rosters, showcasing the program’s lasting impact.
Today, RBI serves approximately 225,000 youth across more than 300 programs in nearly 200 cities worldwide, with continued support from all 30 MLB Clubs and millions invested to grow the game.
What “RBI” Means
RBI stands for Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities, a national initiative originally created by Major League Baseball to increase access to baseball and softball for underserved communities.
Our goal is to o empower youth in Macon by providing access to baseball and softball programs that build character, leadership, and pathways to future success both on and off the field.
