Is Macon RBI a nonprofit organization?

Yes. Macon RBI is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to youth development through baseball and softball. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Yes. Macon RBI is a nonprofit organization, and donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. After making a donation, you will receive a receipt for your records. You can also select Login to access your secure, password-protected dashboard, where you can view your contribution history and download receipts at any time. Please consult your tax advisor for specific guidance regarding your individual tax situation.

Yes. If you prefer to contribute by check, especially for larger donations or sponsorships, you are welcome to do so. Please make checks payable to Macon RBI Baseball and Softball Inc. and mail the check to:

Macon RBI is more than just a sports program, it’s a community-driven organization focused on youth development, mentorship, and opportunity. Through baseball and softball, we help young athletes build confidence, discipline, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the field.

After registering your player on the Macon RBI website, the next step is to complete your registration through the Atlanta Braves RBI portal. You can access the MLB Macon RBI portal from resources and forms.

From the MLB Macon RBI registration page, start by clicking the registration button that matches your selected program or event. This portal is where you will find all required forms, policies, waivers, and additional resources needed to finalize your player’s participation. Completing both steps ensures your player is fully registered and eligible for the upcoming season. For assitance please contact Freddie at 478-335-5869.

Players typically need basic items such as a glove, cleats, and appropriate athletic wear. Uniforms and some equipment are often provided through the program thanks to those who choose to Sponsor a Player and through generous donations.

Games and practices are held at designated fields throughout Macon and surrounding areas. Specific locations are listed on the Schedule page.

All game schedules are available on the Schedule page of our website. This page is updated regularly with the latest game times, dates, and locations.

Yes. We regularly update the scheduling calendar as new games are scheduled, so please check back often for the latest additions.

Yes. Our scheduling system allows you to easily add games to your personal calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook, and more), helping you stay organized throughout the season. To do this, visit the schedule page, select the event of your choice, open the event, and then choose Add to Calendar.

Yes. The Macon RBI website is hosted on a secure server and protected by multiple layers of industry-standard security. We use trusted security services, including SiteLock, to help monitor, detect, and prevent potential threats. All sensitive information submitted through the website is encrypted during transmission, and access to personal data is restricted through secure, password-protected systems. We are committed to maintaining a safe and reliable experience for every user.

Yes. All online payments and donations are processed securely through trusted platforms like Stripe, ensuring your personal and payment information is protected.

To access your dashboard, simply select Login and enter your email address. This will allow you to securely view and manage your contribution information whenever you need.

Yes. You can sponsor a player to help cover their participation costs. This is a meaningful way to directly support a child in the program.

Absolutely. Many sponsors choose to sponsor multiple players or even entire teams. We also offer expanded sponsorship opportunities for individuals and businesses. For more information call Freddie Stewart at 478-335-5869.

We are committed to making the program accessible to all families. Financial assistance and scholarships may be available for those who qualify.

We welcome volunteers in many areas, including coaching, grounds crew, and administrative assistance. Visit our dedicated Volunteer page. 

Macon RBI offers several facility rental options, including a Synthetic Field, Turf Field, and Little League Field. One of the fields is versatile and can be easily adapted for sports beyond baseball and softball. To check availability for your preferred date and receive pricing details, simply fill out our Facility Rental Request Form. A Macon RBI team member will review your request, confirm availability, and follow up with you directly.

The RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program was originally created by John Young and is now operated and supported by Major League Baseball. Today, MLB oversees the program at a national level, providing resources, structure, and opportunities for communities across the country.
