David A. Donzie, Jr.
Vice President – Commercial Lending Synovus Bank
David Danzie, Jr. serves as Treasurer on the Board of Macon RBI. He is Vice President of Commercial Lending at Synovus Bank, bringing extensive experience in financial strategy and business development. His expertise helps support responsible financial planning and long-term growth for the organization.
David is a graduate of Macon State College (now Middle Georgia State University). He resides in Byron with his wife Keicha. They are the parents of 24-year-old twins – David, III (Spouse – Jada) and Madison. A Macon/Byron resident for over 36 years, he is an active member of his community, serving on several organizational boards and committees.
Some of the organizations Danzie is involved with include Leadership Georgia, Past President and Chairman, Past President – Technical College Director’s Association, Charlotte McKlenburgh Hospital Authority and Atrium Health – Board of Directors, Navicent Health Board of Director’s Executive Committee (Chair – Finance), Board of Commissioner’s – Macon-Bibb County Housing Authority; Past- Chair – Macon-Bibb County Hospital Authority, Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce – (Past Chair, Executive Cmte), Central Georgia Community Foundation – (BOD; Chair Grants Cmte, Nominating Cmte), Cherry Blossom Festival – Board of Directors (Incoming Chair – 2027), Grand Opera House (Board of Governors), Better Business Bureau of Middle Georgia – Chairman, Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund Cmte – Treasurer; Central Georgia Technical College Foundation Board – Chairman, Middle Georgia Community Food Bank – Board Member, Visit Macon – Board Member.
In addition, Danzie was recognized in the July 2016 Issue of Rural Leader Magazine as one of the Top 50 under 50, in September 2007 by Macon Magazine as one of the Top 5 Leaders Under 40, and by the Georgia Informer as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in the same year. In his spare time, he enjoys the many qualities that living in middle Georgia provides, including playing golf, reading and secluded meditation.
