Stephen J. Daugherty is a Director on the Board of Macon RBI. He is Chief Executive Officer of Piedmont Macon and Piedmont Macon North in Macon, Georgia.
Originally from Oklahoma, Steve worked with HCA Healthcare for 32 years and has over 25 years of administrative experience, the last 12 years spent in Macon. Previously, he served as an acquisition specialist for the HCA West Florida Division, CEO at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, CEO at South Bay Hospital, COO at St. Lucie Medical Center, and Vice President/Administrator at Gulf Coast Hospital. Steve earned his MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University and a bachelor’s in biology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls. He also has a diploma in Medical Technology recognized by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Steve currently serves on several boards in Macon including the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, The Otis Redding Foundation, The International Cherry Blossom Festival, Macon RBI, One Macon, Middle Georgia State University Foundation, Forward Macon, and Board of Visitors for McDuffie Center for Strings . He has recently been awarded the Macon Arts Alliance Culture Award and the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the cultural life of Central Georgia through his work and philanthropic efforts.
